Can't Wait for a Creative Night...

Yeah!! Can't wait, I'm getting to go to a Christmas in July Workshop!! I went to one earlier this year and had a blast!! I would like to say "Thank You" to Ginger Bales for getting me started on making Card's. It has become one of my favorite things to do. I LOOOOOOVE it!! Thanks also to Lisa Terry for starting up a club that I could join and make creative things. Never thought a year ago that I would into the hobbie of scrap booking and card making. But I truly have enjoyed and it has blessed my life. So Thank You!!

Creative Week...

I'm so excited this week, I have got the honor of going to two card workshop's this week. I went to Lisa Terry's last night and learned several techniques for cards. I will take pictures and show them tomorrow. But if she read's my blog, Thanks!! I really had alot of fun. Plus I got four new Stampin Up Stamps, three new ink pads, and three new marker's, and a scallop punch. Most of this was from my Marker Club meeting that I'm in. I help myself by letting my mom order me three stamp Set's for Christmas. Thank Heavens for Mother's. Anyway I get to go to Sandy's
Friday night I'm really excited about this workshop. They tell me it was fun last year, so I can't wait. Plus it revolves around Christmas, my favorite time of year. So that's what I have been doing this week. Being Creative.
Carson is doing great!! Carson three week's ago fell off his swing set, and he his front tooth. It was just bleeding, so we didn't think anything about it. So as the weeks have past his front tooth has turned black. So we went to the dentists this week and everything looks fine. The black front tooth he has is just bruising we think right now. We go back in Sept. He was kinda of freak out of someone looking at his teeth. But he did fine his first visit. No crying which is a good thing. We also go back in Oct. to check on the Kidney's. So God has truly blessed us as of right now. Grandpa got a good report last week and he seems to be doing better. Thanks for all the concerns and prayer's. God has truly blessed us in all we have done the past month. We still give him the praise and honor.

My Cup Runneth Over....

I really don't know who read's my blog anymore. But for those that do, I want to say a special Thank You!! Those that have said one or more prayer's for my Grandpa, we are happy to say that he is going home today. Wow, Isn't that great. God truly answer's prayer's. He had to have two stints in, and was 70-80% block on the right side. He made it through everything. He is still weak and is tired, but all in all I'd say he is doing pretty good. And we give our Thanks to God above, for he held my Grandpa in his hands and help him through. There is just so much to be Thankful for and we give God the praise. My Cup runneth over with Blessing's.

As I think about this week, I regret now that I didn't go back in the ICU room. When they put Grandpa on the vent. My mind keeps going back eleven years ago when my Grandma was in the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. My parents did not want me to go back and see her, because she was fighting off infection and we didn't know if it was contagious or not. I didn't get to see my grandma fight for our life and the memories I have of her are the ones not in the hospital. So In my mind that's what I had wanted with my Grandpa. I didn't want to see him with the tube inside him, in case that would be the last for him. Does that sound mean. I mean I'm fixing to be thirty years old. I could handle it. But was this the right decision of not going back? Was it wrong for me to have my family see me refuse to see Grandpa!!! It's been on my mind all week. I just want to make the right decision next time this happens, to the one's that I love. But as for right now I will get to see and talk with my Grandpa. And the best thing is Carson will get to do the same. Thank You Lord for giving us more time with him.

Just a Quick Update....

Just letting those you might have read my blog Monday!! My Grandpa is out of ICU for now!! Doing a little better. Right now as we speak, they are doing the Heart Cath on him. So if you happen to read my blog, continue to pray for him. My family would be grateful. We know God is in charge and he will be with us and my Grandpa!! I will let you know more later!!!

A Very Long WEEK....

Hello, everyone!! Well let me tell you, It has been a long week. Our vacation was good it's just something I prob. won't do again for a long time. You see it was not relaxing or fun. First of all, We had boat problems. We had to fix the fishing boat then turn around and the poon toon was not running good. The we went swimming in the lake, it was very dirty and trashy from the high water. Then we had to endure some very bad storms. We got caught out on the lake when it started storming. The boat dock we where on, had broke loose and the only way to get off the dock was jump into the water. It was soooo crazy. Luckily my cousin had took Carson on up to the cabin. Where he was safe and warm before it got bad. Then we where on the go all the time. My goal was to relax and do nothing. It did not happen!!! My three year old was very board. No one to play with and the cabin we rented was on a very steep hill. So he fell twice scrap his leg's. It was not a very good experience for him. He keep telling us, he was ready to go home. He didn't like it at the lake!!! He didn't get to see any firework's this year because it got rained out. So we celebrated our 4th inside the cabin trying to stay dry!!

We where expected to fix break fest, lunch and dinner. We had my Aunt and Uncle come up with us. So my uncle went fishing at 5:00 every morning and expected my husband to go. So my husband didn't get to rest either!! I couldn't sleep in, because my aunt go up at 7:00 every morning and fixed break fest for everyone. What was I thinking going to the lake and relaxing and do what we wanted to do. That was not the case. I did do some scrap booking. I only got about seven cards made for the card swap that I'm doing. So for us to plan on going to the lake again will not be for a very long time if any. My son caught a fish on his fishing pole. The only highlight of our trip was, we went to branson last Wednesday. We got to go and eat at Olive Garden and then go to Celebration City and ride rides. So that's about what we did at the 08 vacation this year.

So we are safe at home and ready to relax from our crazy vacation. We just found out that my Grandpa is in the hospital so keep him in your prayer's. Thanks!!! What a week.
