Elemo Comes to Town...

I haven't made a post yet about Seseme Street coming to town yet. So here it goes!! Augest the 19 in Jonesboro Ar. was filled with Elemo fans. Little kid's of all ages. Big and Little went to the Convocation Center to watch Seseme Street. There was Elemo of course, Big Bird, Grover, Bert and Ernie and Etc... Carson had a blast. He watch Seseme Street at Mrs. Kissa's the babysitter. And when he went to preschool, he doesn't get to watch it very much. The plot of the show was making music. What can you make music out of. It didn't surprise me mom and aunt sissy spoilt him. He got a cd with songs on it, a stuff big bird. And a balloon of elemo's head!! CRAZY!!! It was fun and here are some pictures that we took of that night.

The whole night was soooo much fun. I advise anyone go if, you have toddler's or young children. They will love it. Oh, and if your adults you might like it also. LOL!!!

A Little Under the Weather Again...

I just don't know what is going on with me!! I woke up Monday Morning not feeling good. And I ended up missing two days of work. All I wanted to do was sleep. I didn't wake up Tuesday till almost 1:00pm. I mean I slept almost all day. Then yesterday I couldn't breathe and my chest was hurting. I think I'm going to move where there is no allergy problems around. Because my son is having to be on breathing treatments AGAIN!! I mean living in Arkansas is almost not worth it to me and my family LOL!!! But we will survive, we survive every year!! Did I mention I hate allergy season!!!

My Little Man...

Yesterday was Carson's first Dentist Appointment. He did very well! After getting there and seeing all the toy's, I didn't know if I would be able to get him back to check his teeth out. But with much excitement, he went back. They let him operate the equipment and check it out for himself (with their help of course). Then they ask him to lay down, he did wonderful. He laid very still for them. After the cleaning he got to pick out a toy, a motorcycle. Then they tried to take some x-ray's of his teeth. He began to gag and was getting choked. They told me it was not a big deal. That it wasn't life or death to get a x-ray. Because he was only three, they said it could wait a few months. They didn't want to push the ideal of freaking him out to get x-ray's. So anyway that's what happened at the Dentist. A very well behaved little boy. He got a new tooth brush and tooth past. He got a report card, with A+ on it. Looks good they told us. Will see us in March. So the Dentist became good friends of Carson!!

What we did on Labor Day...

Well, our Labor Day weekend went like this. Saturday was David's Aunt's 90th Birthday party. We went and hung out there for a little while. Then we went back home and being the good and wonderful wife I am. I let David go and play video games with his Brother and Cousin. I stayed home and made some cards for fall. I'm soooo excited how they turned out. I decorated my house for fall already. I'm just excited about fall for some reason this year. I gathered all my leaves and candle's, table runner's and my scarecrow's down. I don't have my outside fixed up yet, but give me a few weekend's I will have it covered in fall things. Fall is my favorite time of year. I guess because the big reason is my birthday is in October and we would have all kinds of party's during the month. So fall is and will always be a big part of my life.

Well we had our 5th Sunday Singing at Church, and we presented the program for the church. We worked on some songs and put together some new ones. I guess it went pretty good, we got a standing ovation. I mean, we both felt the spirit moving within our church. I felt pretty assume!! During the Singing Carson had a bloody noise. I kept looking down, at mom and my sister to see if they had everything taking care of. I mean as soon as church started, Carson looked at me and blood was coming out of his noise. Great timing when I was fixing to get on the stage. The church had to sing an additional congregation song because I was in the bathroom with Carson. But I new mom could take care of him just as well as I could. So all in all it was a wonderful night.

Then we all decided to go to six flags in St. Louis Mo. None of us had been there in a very long time. I got on the computer and found some tickets for 29.99. So with that we saved almost 80.00 for all of us. Which made up for the snacks and soda's we bought within the park. The down fall about six flags was not enough rides for Carson. It was hot, we did not have enough time to do both water and dry park's. We just did the dry park and ride all the roller coaster's. It was sooo much fun. We all agreed our most favorite ride was the new ride Evil Knievel!!! It was assume!! We got there when the park opened and we stayed until the park closed!! It was all worth it and my dad and mom got to get away for the day. My Dad road The Boss and The Batman by his self. He likes those crazy rides like that. We will prob. go back up there in the spring. It only took three and 1/2 hours to get up there!! We got in at midnight. But it was fun and we enjoyed our day off!!

God teaches us a Major Lesson...

As I think back on what a week my family has had, it really makes want to cry! My feeling's have been scared, angry, and hurt. What we have been through, has been a life lesson to learn from. God knew exactly what and how to get our attention. We both felt like we had our life under control. Paying our bills, putting food on our table, and buying things we would like to have. But I feel like we left a big person out. Our God! We serve the Lord, don't get me wrong. But I feel like we haven't served him whole heart and soul. I was raised to give our tithes to the Lord. But my husband was not raised up that way. Mainly because they did not have money. We disagree on many things. But the biggest argument has been tithing. I love my husband and I'm very grateful on how he works for everything we own and working toward. But I just don't know how this battle will work out in the end. I myself will be giving my earnings toward the Lord. Because I don't want to be standing in front of him on judgement day and say sorry lord, we just didn't have the money to give to you. Hello!! If you work forty hours a day and get paid, he should help out the one that help you get the job and money. So this is my comment now, to give to the Lord what is his, and work with what I have to purchase what I owe and want. I guess, as I'm getting older I need Lesson's to learn from. Man oh Man, a Major Lesson Life lesson to learn.

Week of Learning Experience's...

Ok, it's been a few days since I blogged again!! Sorry!! Anyway, I wanted everyone to know. I WON!! No, it's not the Lottery!! But I bid on an item on e-bay and I won!! WOO-HO!! Ok let me explain. Monday during our Marker Club meeting. I was very interested in if anyone had a stamp set that delt with construction. My plans are Carson is turning four in Nov. and he loves Bob the Builder. So I'm planning on a Construction theme for his party. So now that I'm into making cards and things. I was wanting to make the invitation's for his party. So at the marker club meeting, no one had anything dealing with construction. But Joann a friend told me about trying to find it on ebay. What? I have never dealt with ebay. I wouldn't even know how to bid. So Tuesday at work got on ebay and there I found the retired stampup set By Land. They had about five to bid on. So I found the stamp set plus two wheel stamp sets. I started bidding and by Wednesday afternoon, I had Won... It was very addicted, I keep watching the bid, to see if I was being outbid ed. There was this one ladie that was trying to get it. But my maxi um bid was 40. I was not going over that. So she quit bidding at 39.36. Good for me. So it was a learning experience, and I'm grateful I found what I was looking for. So Thanks to Joann I will be making I hope some really cute invitations for Carson's party.

I also, got the experience of learning some new songs to sing at church. It has been a few months since I order these soundtracks. The song The Blood Covers it all, was easy to learn. I put it in, played it and listen to the Demo. Then turned around and started singing on my own. It is a very good song. Now the song In the Presence of Jehovah was a little different. I had to listen to the demo several times before I picked up on it. It was all part of Learning something new. I enjoy learning and doing things new. It may take me a little bit to catch up with everybody else but it's all part of my Learning in Life.

A Little Update...

Just a little blog updating on what I've been doing!! Well for starter's I've made a green arrangement for church here is a picture.

I also made a grapevine wreath for church. The theme for this month was a music Theme.

Well what do you think? Scrap booking is not the only passion I have. I love making flower arrangement's. I love how you can take a blank surface and add a few little odds and end's and poof it looks totally different. Anyway that's about what's been going on. Just putting my creative mind into use. I'm planning another Ladies night at church for Christmas so my mind is busy with that. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
