Vacation 08 Count Down...
Well, we only have five day's till we leave for our vacation. It's kinda of weird, we started planing our vacation back in January. Only to discuss because we found out that Carson's Preschool would be closed the first week in July. So we had to make a discussion on what we where going to do. The thought rolled around about getting a cabin at the lake again this year. Why not!! At the time money wasn't really there and my mom was going in on with us to pay for it. We would truly would like to go somewhere else for our vacation, but for now this is what we are doing. So now the time is approaching us with four day's left to get things together it's been kinda of crazy. We have decided to go on up to Branson one day next week. I'm excited about that. I love Branson!!! Anyway that's what we've been doing. It's just kinda of nice to get away for a week or so. My main goal is to scrapbook, swim, relax, and spend time with my husband and son. So look out vacation here we come!!!

Crazy Week....
Well, it's been a very interesting week. First of all we had a good Father's Day. David and I spent the day with our dad's. We have been apart for Father's Day and Mother's day since we have been married. We agreed that as long as our parents where still here and we where able, we would spend the day with our parents. So that's what we did for Father's Day. I didn't get him anything because he got him some tools to fix our roof.
Oh Yeah, that's what has been going on this week. We have replaced our shingles on our house. We have been discussing this for awhile now. We reviewed our insurance and decided to clam our roof damage. I say roof damage because our master bedroom was a add on. So when they added our bedroom they built it the cheapest way they could. So on top of our bedroom on our roof, the decking was chipboard plywood. Whoever put shingles on it, did not do a very good job. We have been having roof leaks but David check it out and it was in the valley of the roof. So he just put roofing tire on the valley. It work for awhile. But we keep checking outside of the house and we keep noticing our roof was dipping in a little. So we got ahold of our insurance and they told us to get an est. So that's what we did we got our insurance check and started this week repairing the damage.
We got on the roof and I kid you not, the first piece of shingle David tore off our roof caved in. I freak out, why in the world would you put chipboard for a roof. So we had to put all new decking, and all new shingles. It has been a mess!!! We started Tuesday, but we ran out of day light. So we had to leave half the roof off my bedroom. So when we woke up Wednesday Morning I could see daylight in my room. Plus it was suppose to be a clear sky, but it came up a cloud. It ended up raining inside my bedroom a little. Plus when they tore my roof off David's brother fell through our bedroom ceiling. He was OK, but our ceiling wasn't.
We are very grateful to have siblings help us out. David's Brother does roofing on the side. And my sister is a hard worker. Isn't that why you have siblings, to help? So with their help, plus a couple men from work help us replace the decking and replace our shingles. Luckily my mom took Carson and watch him. He would be in the way and into everything. Hopefully we will have all the shingles done today or tomorrow. It just depends on the weather here in Paragould. I will be so ready for vacation next week. I told David just do the roof, we can live with the ceiling for a couple of weeks. But when we come back from the lake, We have a ton of things to do to the house. What a crazy week this has been. I guess everyone has a week like this, one time or another. I really to here the Lake calling my name!!!

A Little Under the Weather...
As I am getting older, it seems like my allergies are getting worse!! When I was a little girl, I was in and out of the hospital with asthma and bronchus. But as I started school, I began to grow out of being sick. But as I'm getting older it has caught back up with me. I've been back to the dr. with another sinus problem. My sinus drainage has irritated my ear and throat. So he put me on med's and noise spray. I just assume to knock me out because that's what I feel like. It extremely hurts. My limpnoids are very swollen!!! I also found out that I had High Blood Pressure again. The Dr. told me three strikes and he has to do something. What else is new. So yes I'm a little under the weather this week. I have to start getting better because we have vacation in two weeks and alot still has to be done.

Carson Got Air....
First of all Carson made it through his second day of preschool. He didn't get to go outside, because it was so hot outside. So they stayed in, and he got to eat a red Popsicle. Speaking of Hot they talk about Summer yesterday. He made it another day. So far it has worked out very well for him. They haven't told us anything different and his reports have been coming up very good.
Well, It's really, really, really Hot in Paragould AR. Lucky us!! Our house is run by Window Air!! I know little air is better than no air!! Well It's kinda of strange, when my Dad runs a Heat and Air Business. You would think he would offer to put in Central Heat and Air....But no offers yet!!! So we get to use Window Air. Well last year when the temp got up to 100 plus. We had to use one of my sister's window units for Carson Bedroom. Did you catch that!! My sister doesn't have Central Heat and Air either!! LOL!!! It's kinda humorous to us!!! Anyway so instead of borrowing hers again this year!! We decided to get a new one. So that's what we did. David went to Wal-Mart last night and fought through the crowd. And he got one. So what we decided, we put our little one that is in our bedroom and put the new one in ours. It's kinda bigger than what we had. So we put our old one in Carson's room and what was the first thing he did, play with the knobs. Typical three year old. So we took the knobs off, and put up high!! So now we have a Big One in our Kitchen and Living Room. New one in our Bedroom. and a small one in Carson's Room. We should not be hot in any part of the house now. We have Cold Air!!!

A New Beginning...
Ok, so I sound like a story book!! But that's what it feels like. It just feels like a new chapter of our lives. We have just started the summer on a very high note. The first day of Preschool was yesterday and everything went good. We started the morning by letting him watch Thomas the Train. We just took our time getting ready and reassure him that everything will be ok. Before we knew it, the clock said 6:50. So we put him in the car. As he sat in his car set, I look back and I knew that my little boy was becoming a big boy. This step of preschool confirmed that he was about to grow up very quickly before my eyes. I knew David wanted to come and be apart of his first day of preschool. It was just the three of us, headed to preschool. As we approach the school, the very first thing Carson saw was the big playground in the back. He wanted to go play, instead of going inside. We walk up to the door, walked inside and we found his room, signed him in and we talked with a few teacher's aid's. His teacher didn't get there till 7:30. So we just hung out until we meet her. Her name is Mrs. Denise, she seems nice. So as we where leaving, he gave us kisses and hugs. I couldn't help myself I started crying. Not that I was upset, but because I was happy for him. He seemed to be ok with everything. But he looked like a lost puppy, because he didn't know anybody yet.
So as we left, me and David went our separate way's going to work. He was glad he came. I went through the day looking at the clock thinking of what he might be doing. My babysitter even called and check on how he did. She is such a sweet person, I will never forget her. It was a busy day so the day went by fast. As the clock struck 4:00 I left to go picked him up and there he was inside his room, playing. He also help the aids pick up the toy's in his room. I'm so proud of him, he was so hot and tired. We made it!! We made our New Chapter of Life!!!
