Hello Again...

Well Pregnant lady is back!! I know it's been a really long time since I posted!! It just seems I am on a very fast train, trying to slow down!! But know one is listening to me!! LOL!! Last time I blogged I was 23 weeks pregnant, now I am 34 weeks!! Doing good!! She is growing and moving alot!! I had a baby shower a couple of weeks ago!! Got alot of pink things and girl items!! So I am getting very excited!! I will post pictures in a couple of day's!! Got the nursery done, and we have been moving into it!!
Carson has been really good, but there is going to be a little Jealousy going on with him!! He thinks all her things are his!! Which they where at one time, but they are Bethany's right now!! At this point we will be going in the hospital on September 14, at 7:30 for a c-section!! So it's not to much longer!! If I don't get to post anymore!! Please remember us in your prayers!! This is very exciting chapter in our lives!!

21, 22, 23 weeks countdown...

I know it's been a few weeks since I blogged last!! Sorry, life is crazy.... Anyway I am doing fine, we went to the Dr. last Wed. to check the Baby in detail!! As I have blogged in the past, Carson had a Kidney problem when he was born. So they told me it was a Genic thing, so they wanted to make sure she was doing good!! So far everything looks good!! No sign of internal problems so far!! Thank God for that!! She weighs 13oz and is still a very active little girl!! We have come up with a name for her and we decided Bethany Leeann Roush!! Bethany is from the Bible, and Leeann is from both my Grandmother's!! Betty Lee and Mary Ann!! I am named after my mom, Amy Diann. So instead of another Diann I came up with naming her after the special women in my life!! I think it is very different and pretty!! Mostly David loves it!!

We finally got her bedding it is gingham with flowers, hearts, and a rainbow of colors!!

I Love it!! It's like a little Garden for a Baby Girl!!

I found it over at Baby Depot in Memphis!! On Sale!!! The only thing I don't have is the Diaper Holder, Pillow's, and the Border!! But I can mix and match!! Ok, we found so much stuff at Baby Depot that didn't cost very much!! I bought a bassinet sheet, towels, and the car seat neck holder very cheap. I also bought her two new bottles!! I am using the Playtex Drop in Bottles, easy to use and Carson did wonderful with them!! I just have to get the nipples and the drop ins!! (This girl is not Breastfeeding) because it's just not for me!!! Sorry!!

So the only problem now, is I can't get into her bedroom!! We are having a yard sale June 6, so guess where our Junk is!! You got it her room!! Until we have the yard sale, her things are in my bedroom!! Including her Baby Bed!! We got Carson a Big Boy Bed!! For Four years he has slept in his Baby Bed/Toddler Bed!! We found a Twin Size Bed for him and he loves it, just having trouble staying in it!! He keep's falling off the Bed!! He likes his new Thomas the Train Sheets. So instead of taking the Baby Bed down, we moved into our room!! Carson till likes climbing inside the Crib, so we will see if he will try that when Bethany sleeps in it LOL!!

We got her going home outfit this past weekend at Dillard's!! I kinda spent more money on her going home outfit than her other clothes!! I have been trying to catch sales!! Let me tell you JC Penny is the store!! Buy one outfit for regular price and get another for 99 cents!! It's a bargain!! So far it's been sleepers and little outfits!! Not alot of dresses because everything we have looked at is for the summer not fall! !But it's been fun, buying and finding pink items!!

We are all doing good, just hard to believe that I am as far along as I am!! I only have 119 days to go and we will have a little Girl!! David is getting more excited!! He loves all the pink in the house, he tells me it's very different!! We are truly being blessed right now, God is still in control!! And we are just happy and content!!

20 weeks and Counting...

Well it's twenty weeks!! And I can't believe that it is half way over!! I am doing good!! This week has really went good!! God keeps blessing us daily!! We have saved enough money to make our first big (Baby Payment). We have no maternity benefits so everything will come out of our own pocket's!! We have done good!! We have only bought what we need, nothing extra!! So it gives enough money to make the payments to the Dr. We have decided to act like it's a weekly payment and it doesn't seem that bad. Instead of coming up with five payments of $745.00, break it up by the week!! Which is like $186 a week and it doesn't seem all that bad!! There seems to be a calm feeling at our house!! I hope it's not the calm before the storm!! LOL!!

We took Saturday and cleaned the house from top to bottom, moved things around. All we like is moving the left over junk out of the babies room!! It was kinda of sad for David!! You see the babies room, was David's hobby room, inside held about 500 toy tractors!! So he packed them up in totes to put upstairs in the attic!! He is ok with it just wished we had a bigger house to display his hard work of collecting!! He has been collecting toy tractors for years!! We are planning on having a yard sale in June to get ride of some old things!! So alot of things going on this past week!!

Since this weekend is Mother's Day my gift from my husband is....a day of shopping without Carson!! I know that seems silly, but I am wanted to go get some things for the baby and I would like to focus on what she need's!! So Carson is having a day out with daddy!! So Happy Mother's Day weekend to me!! I hope I will enjoy myself!!

We are getting more and more excited about her coming into our lives!! I know God is with us and will continue to be with us!! God is in Control!!

19 weeks and counting...

Well i'm still here and pregnant!! She is a very active little girl!! I just can't wait to see and hold her!! I can tell that I'm getting bigger, just scared to get on the scales!! I didn't like doing that before much less now that I'm pregnant!! I have been very good though, trying to eat healthy!! I have taken my vitamins every day and drinking alot of Orange juice!! The one thing that has been a very hard task for me, is laying off the soda's esp. COKE!! I love coke!! Before I found out that I was pregnant, I was drinking prob. three a day!! I am making it though!! I do have a coke every now and then!! I really don't think a few will hurt!! (I hope not)
But the excited thing happen this past weekend!! I bought her first sleeper's!! Pink and Purple!! I thought I would never be able to by little girl thing's!! I just hope the Dr. didn't miss read it!! My mom bought I don't know how many little outfits, with sock's, and bib's!! She just went crazy!! We are slowly buying things up, I'm just not any hurry!! Everything else is going to fast!! I have a couple of styles of bedding pick out, just waiting patiently!! Until my husband give me the ok to buy it!! LOL!! No we are just having to watch what we spend, because it is costing so much to have her!! We are just taking one thing at a time!! The big thing we are having to get is getting a bed for Carson!! So if you see any sales around Paragould on kid's bedding please let me know!! Well this pregnant women is getting tired and is fixing to go to bed!! Thanks for your Prayer's!! It's half way over and I still need them!!

18 weeks Pregnant...

Well it's official, I am wearing Maternity Clothes now!! Mainly the pants!! Yesterday I wore, some jeans and could not button them!! I had to take a rubber band and fix it so I could not expose myself!! So that made me realize, I need to get in Maternity clothes sooner rather than later!! It's OK!! I had keep all the clothes from my first pregnancy!! So I'm not going to be out any money for bigger clothes, which is a blessing!! They are in the washer as we speak!! I showed mom my favorite outfit!! It is Black with Leopard print on it!! It is so comfy and looks cool!! My goal is to find a pretty pink top for my shower!! I had Blue with Carson, so pink for this little girl!! Anyway doing wonderful, it feels like a little butterfly moving around!! She is defiantly a very active little girl!! She doesn't like to stay in one place!! We are slowly getting her room cleared out!! We have sooooo much junk it's not even funny!! We need to get it cleared out to paint!! What is in there right now, is over 400 little toy tracker's, that my husband had collected!! He is willing to pack them up and move them in the attic. That's what we get for having only a three bedroom house!! Not enough room for our stuff!! We are very close in picking out a name for her! (I will let everyone know soon) so for right now she is my little butterfly. And to Carson, she is Baby Sissy!! Continue to keep us in prayer!! We are doing good, just worried about all the money we are having to come up with to pay for our little unexpected blessing!!

Unexpeced Blessing...

Well I'm blogging for the 100th time, and with this post, I have some big news. A very unexpected surprise came to our attention this past weekend!! We took a test last weekend that changed our life. A test that would change our lives and our faith forever!! Well to come out and say it, I am 17 weeks and 3 day's pregnant!! I was on the pill, and was wondering why I haven't had my monthly cycle in about a month and a half!! Well I took a EPT test the lines where very faint, I took a FIRST RESPONSE test the lines where very faint. I finally took one last test with Clear Blue Easy (a digital one), it came right out and said Pregnant or Not!! I waited for a few min. and it flashed up Pregnant. So there was no dyning anything I was having another baby!!

So we went to the Dr. Friday, at 10:00am!! Due to certain event's, I had change OB Dr.'s. The Doctor that delivered Carson, does not deliver anymore!! So we went with a Dr. Edward's!! He seems very nice and very concerned about my health!! So he asked me how far along, I thought I was, I told him about 10 wks!! I had a cycle in Feb. and was on the pill. The only month I missed was March, then part of April!! So he got our information, and then did a Ultra Sound!! So we did the Ultra Sound, as soon as he put the thing on my belly there she was!! Not a blob, not a speck!! But a full figure, with body parts, limbs, head, and spin!! I was more than 10 weeks that was forsure!! Then he said I was 17 weeks and 1 day, I think David passed our!! LOL !! I really don't know because I was in shock myself!! The Dr., said do we want to know what it was!! I said can you tell? He said yes, I was having a Girl!! She was not scared of showing us, that she was indeed a girl!! (David tried to argue with the Dr., that is was a boy) He assured us that she was indeed a girl!!

It was a shock, it was mind blowing event, and it indeed is a test of our Faith!! You see I was on the pill, I had regular cycles, and I only missed one period!! I know in my heart that this is part of God's plan!! I have to believe that because we will not survive this event without him!! I'm just excited that I have all of Carson's baby things!! Plus I get to buy pink!! They tell me that this pregnancy will go fast!! Because I'm already half way done!! Put I am just praying that she will be fine and that everything goes good!! I will keep everyone posted, just remember to keep us in your prayer's!! This is a major event in our lives that we did not expect!! We are happy and overjoyed with this announcement!! We can say that we are having a Little Girl!!

A Prayer Out Loud...

Dear Lord,
Please here my prayer!! I know the journey of life, is full of surprises!! And Lord I am a child of your kingdom and I pray that I find grace and favor in your eyes!! I cannot stay on this Journeywithout you Lord!! Please show me the way that you would have me to be!! I pray that you give me the wisdom and knowledge that I will do good for you!! This world is full of unexpected stumbling blocks and to know that you are with me!! I pray that you will give me peace of mind that this blessing in my life will be ok!! Make me a light for you Lord!! Lead me and Direct me in the path that I need to go!! Forgive me of my sins!! I ask this all in your name!!

Devil get behind me, Lord take control....

Well it's been one of those weeks!! I mean month's!! Does it feel like when you have something really good going, the Devil tries to knock it down? Well that's what I'm beginning to feel. We have some things going right now within our church, that are positive and exciting!! And I'm all for it, it's just like I'm looking right behind my shoulder, wondering what will go wrong next. We are in the planning stages of some big event's at our church. We are starting a puppet ministry and a ladies bible study. Now a couple of years ago, i would be all excited, and praising God, and just on fire for the Lord. Now let me tell you I am those things, but with a little bit of doubt!! Mainly because it seems that when I put my whole life, and heart in God's work here comes the Devil making himself at home. Now I am all for this added church work, but I need your prayers. Pray that we my succeed and that God will knock the Devil on his back side!! I have faith that it will all work out. It just I was here, in this same area of my life a couple of years ago. DOUBT and it doesn't want to go away. Please keep my little church in your prayer, because we want to succeed and be on fire for the Lord again. Lord take Control of my life that I will remove my doubt and fear's!!

Greetings from Mississippi...

Greetings from Mississippi! Thanks to my wonderful family who live in Hernando Ms. They have offered us to spend the night over here! As many have heard Arkansas was hit bad with Freezing rain and Cold Temp. Mr. Winter did not give us a break! I mean it looks like a Tornado has tore through our town and left the houses! We have truly lucky, as I look in our back yard we had huge limbs fall down and came within inches of our house. But God not only Blessed us there, for us we had heat and we could cook on our gas stove. We just could not sleep in our bed, nor take a hot shower!! Our elect came on for a spilt second, but the transformer blew!! Now we have to wait on the city to fix the main lines, then they will get to the small ones. So its just all about being patient!! Well between you and me, our patients are growing very thin. We had to get out of the house and leave town for a couple of days!! I know we are in God's hand's and he has protected us thus far and he will continue to do so as long as we keep in in the center of our life. We just have to give are all to him and he will be with us. I am not scared and I am not afraid, for I know he is with us through anything. Even Mr. Winter's ugly face!!

What a Mess....

Well we are in a little bit of craziness as of this weekend at the Roush's!! It's a thing that I've been dreading on for quit sometime!! The end of Last summer we got enough money from our insurance to fix our roof. We knew the roof needed help, but neither one of us knew the extent of the situation!! To put it mildly we where about to have our bedroom roof come crashing down on top of us (while sleeping). So it had to be fixed. We put new decking on, new shingles, and we had free labor!! Friends and Relatives help us out. But when we fixed the bedroom roof, there was also some damage done inside!! So we both have been putting off the chore of fixing the problem. As long as the roof wasn't coming down we could handle the cosmic part!!

So this weekend we took upon ourselves to clean everything out of the huge closet we have. And place around the house here and there!! My house is in such chaos, it's already driving me crazy. And it's only been the first full day of it. I know where the shoes, and pants, and shirt I have to wear tomorrow for work. But David, has no clue on where his things are!! So I guess, it will be a scavenger hunt in the morning. All the while Carson has loved the empty space. All he wants to do is run back and forth inside this huge closet of ours. I just hope it is all done in a couple of weeks.

So here is what we are planning on doing!! First of all, Sheetrock mud the crack places, and paint, ceiling and walls. Then David is going to put new trim up along the top and sides of the closet. We have lived in this house for about seven years now, and we have never touch the closet. We just washed the racks and walls of the closet to get moved in. Now that we have the money and option we are doing it correctly. The people that had the house before, where not carpenter's. There is nothing in our old house that is square!! So it causes conflict when repairing anything. I fell in love with our house because of the huge closet. It holds everything we ever wanted and then some. Right now since I decorate for weddings, it holds three totes of decorations. Plus our sound system, quilts, and seasonal decor for the house, plus our clothes. So it is a multitask closet!!

So we are working on the closet, finish that then put everything back in order. Then disassemble our bedroom, so that we can fix the bedroom problem. Like I said it has been a task I have been dreading for, for a long time. So wish us luck, because the Roush's have a big mess upon us right now!!!

Internet at Home...

I am sitting at home in the peace and quiet, writing my very first blog of 2009, On my very own computer!!! It took a little while to get a computer, and to get on the Internet!! But my husband loves to shop at Pawn Shop's!! He loves to find all kind of things that people just can't use anymore or can't afford it. Well he found our Laptop there!! The owner gave him a really good price for it, we had our computer friend check it out. And thought it was a good deal and so he bought it for us for Christmas. It has exactly what we need on it. Since we are singing for church's now, it has a burner and a intones player. Plus it has Microsoft Office on it. It is really nice and today just
today we got our Internet hook up at home. So guess what I'm blogging at home!!
So you ask me what's been going on in our lives? Well nothing really interesting!! We have just been a little bit lazy
around our house. For the last two Saturday's we have just hung out at home and watch movies!! It's been wonderful.
I guess with the hustle and bustle of Christmas we are all coming down off a holiday high!! We are just living one day
at a time!!

We did take a small little trip to Springfield Mo. this month!! We stop a Mameth Spring's and took some Pictures of Carson in front of the water. We went to the Bass Pro Shop to exchange David's Christmas Gift from Mom!! We spent four hours in the Bass Pro Shop it was alot of fun!! We ended up staying the night in a hotel, no change of clothes except Carson! It was very interesting but we had fun just roughing it a little.
Carson had to start back to pre-school after a two week holiday!! He didn't want to go back. He is back and they are learning about the shapes!! For the last three weeks every kid in Carson's class brought a object to show and tell. The first week was circle's, then squares, and this week is Triangle's!! It has been really good that the children can recognize there object with a shape!! They are fixing to start learning there address, full names and birthday's. We are to take a picture of the house and send it with him to recognize his house!! I am thankful each day, that he comes home and talks about school and all the friends he makes!! And he is only four year's old!!
We are fixing to start on several project's in our house!! Earlier this past summer we fix our roof on the house. Well when we took the roof off our bedroom, they damaged the ceiling in our bedroom. So we are having to fix the ceiling and repaint our bedroom! We are also looking at getting new bedroom furniture for us with our income tax money!! WOO! Let me tell you the bedroom furniture we have, I've had since I turned one!! White with Gold trim on it!! I just turned 30, I believe I need grown up furniture don't you!!
Anyway with all that going on, I have twisted my husband on turning our extra room into my Scrapbook room. We have been married for almost ten years and with every house we have lived in, my husband has had a room filled with Toy Tractors!! He has almost 400 or more little toy tractors!! It's crazy!! So with that he has had a room to put these toy's in and nothing else. We ll since I'm into a hobby now, I feel like I need a space now to hold my scrapbook things!! And a place for me to call my own. He really doesn't do anything with the tractor's, so they just sit on a self and collect dust. So for the past three or four month's it has been a on going argument of me taking over the room. So I believe that I have succeeded (THANKS for your help GINGER) with her help. I have kept pushing on and finally have succeeded!!
So with a computer at home now I can blog and share my life more with you!! I hope you all have a good night and I wish you all well!!
